Inappropriate behavior impacting the safety of fellow fans, or destruction to university property, facilities and/or grounds, or the failure to adhere to these tailgating guidelines may result in the permanent loss of all parking and tailgating privileges.
As of Sept. 2015, tailgate prices have increased to assist all sports of the athletic department.

Instructions to register for tailgate passes and/or pay by debit or credit card may be found on the university’s homecoming webpage or at www.langstonsports.com. There will be a 3% processing fee assessed to all credit card payments. Once you have completed and submitted your online registration a confirmation number will be assigned to you by email. A copy of this email or your confirmation number in addition to a current government issued photo ID will be required at the time of pick-up. Passes may picked up at the welcome booth center located at the main entrance of the campus on game day or in the Athletic Director’s Office prior to noon on Friday, October 14, 2016.
General Tailgating Policies
Tailgating for Homecoming and/or other events will be located in *Lot 9, West of W.E. Anderson Stadium for a fee. Tailgating is permitted in this Lot only, other area in or around the campus will not be permitted.
Proper credentials must be visible at the time of event.

Patrons are reminded that normal parking regulations apply on game day. Sidewalks, drive lanes and fire lanes must be secured and fully accessible at all times. Vehicles in any illegal location will be ticketed and/or towed. See parking attendant for assistance with general parking.
Any persons damaging University property will be responsible for the cost of repairs, including damages from cooking grease and/or coals to grass or landscape plants, as well as irrigation lines or university facilities.
Individuals, groups and organizations holding or participating in tailgate parties are responsible for their own conduct and are expected to respect the rights of others and the entire University community. Langston University will not be responsible for loss of or damage to vehicle, or contents parked.
Do not remove or move barricades, barrels, or any other traffic control devices. All signs and instructions for lots must be obeyed.
Animals must be leashed at all times and should not be left unattended or secured to university property. Animals are not allowed inside the stadium or any University building, with exception to service animals. Please clean up after your pets while on campus. No horses are allowed on university property.
Persons with a Disability
W.E. Anderson Stadium is ADA accessible. Guests may enter the stadium at any of the gates. Accessible seating is available. Elevators are available for guests in Club Level seating, Suites, or as a guest of the President. Please inform a parking attendant if there are additional needs.

Food and Beverage
Patrons may not issue products without proper permit licensed by the University. Food, drink, and other items may neither be sold nor given to the general public. Contact Risk Management at 405-466-3887 for food permit outside of tailgate and/or university. Glass containers are strongly discouraged for use during tailgating activities.
Alcohol Consumption Restrictions
The use of alcoholic beverages by members of the Langston University community is at all times subject to the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Oklahoma. The possession of any open alcoholic container on Langston University public property is prohibited. Violators are subject to arrest and fine. In accordance with the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Oklahoma, individuals must be at least 21-years-old to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages.
Langston is a tobacco-free campus through state law and university policy. Smoking and the use of other tobacco products are prohibited.
For temporary electrical needs, Langston University recommends the use of battery operated power inverters that convert the battery current to house current. These recommended devices do not generate hazardous carbon monoxide emissions, do not require gasoline cans and resultant hazards, and do not create noise that is potential damaging to hearing and a nuisance to fellow tailgaters. The operation of portable electrical generators that create excessive noise, emission hazards or other safety concerns will not be permitted. Fire extinguishers are encouraged for all and the use of propane or charcoal grills. Langston University discourages the use of tents larger than 10’ by 10’. Tents may not be staked into the ground. Limited space is available. Golf carts, mopeds, scooters, ATVs, go carts and other custom motorized vehicles are not permitted on campus unless authorized by Langston Athletics.
Burn ban laws do apply to tailgating at all times. Violators of these laws will be subject to prosecution.
Extinguish charcoal fires thoroughly before leaving them unattended. Place extinguished charcoal and ashes in designated containers. Do not dump ashes, hot coals, grease or any hazardous materials on campus grounds, in dumpsters or into storm drains.
